Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting and financial operations across all hospitality outlets.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Review daily revenue reports and reconcile revenue streams accurately.
  • Monitor cash, bank, and POS transactions, ensuring timely reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivables, and supplier reconciliations.
  • Prepare robust budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
  • Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and investigate significant variances.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous internal financial controls.
  • Coordinate inventory and stock-related financial controls with relevant departments.
  • Ensure timely statutory deductions, tax filings, and overall regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate seamless internal and external audits.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounts team.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and reports for executive decision-making.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for cost control and improved financial efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Active ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibility.
  • Previous accounting experience within the hotel or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue reconciliation, cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Sound understanding of Nigerian taxation and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and people-management skills.
