About the Role
Nady Academy is a prestigious private co-educational institution located in the serene Gwiwa Lowcost Estate area of Sokoto, Nigeria, dedicated to delivering comprehensive academic programs spanning nursery, primary, and secondary school education. We are currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and culturally grounded Hausa Language Teacher to join our dynamic faculty and inspire our students to appreciate and master the Hausa language and literature.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured Hausa language lessons for nursery, primary, or secondary school students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans that promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Hausa.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school management to improve language department programs and school-wide cultural activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance and behavioral development.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification such as NCE, B.Ed, B.A. (Ed), or B.A./B.Sc. in relevant fields.
- Professional certifications such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDE) and a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license will be considered strong added advantages.
- Previous teaching experience in a reputable educational institution is an advantage.
