About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Guidance Counsellor to join our dynamic team and support the overall wellbeing and success of our secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, personal, social, emotional, and behavioural matters.
- Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and appropriate career paths or further education opportunities.
- Monitor academic and behavioural progress, offering targeted interventions for students requiring additional support.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school management, and parents to address student welfare and developmental concerns.
- Organise workshops, awareness programmes, and sessions on study habits, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain confidential counselling records and effectively escalate safeguarding or serious behavioural issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant counselling experience within a secondary school environment.
- Professional certification in counselling will be an added advantage.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence, empathy, and listening skills tailored for teenagers.
- Strong organisational skills and proficiency in basic administrative tools.
