About the Role
The Dangote Group is one of the most diversified business conglomerates in Africa with a hard-earned reputation for excellent business practices and product quality, headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. We are seeking a strategic, visionary, and results-driven Group Head, New Media to lead our digital communications function. In this pivotal role, you will act as the custodian of our digital ecosystem, enhancing online presence, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reputation across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive digital communications strategies aligned with the Group's corporate objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership for the New Media Office, overseeing corporate websites, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Direct the production of high-quality multimedia content and establish rigorous content governance standards.
- Lead digital reputation management, social listening, sentiment analysis, and real-time crisis communications.
- Establish key performance indicators and deliver insightful digital analytics reports to executive leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Human Resources to ensure unified brand messaging.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in digital and corporate communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise-wide digital communications within a large corporate organization or multinational.
- Expertise in digital strategy, social media management, crisis communications, and digital analytics.
