About the Role

WTS Energy is a leading consultant and manpower supply company serving the international oil, gas, and energy industry globally with offices in 16 countries. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to provide strategic financial leadership, ensure long-term financial sustainability, drive operational excellence, and maintain robust corporate governance across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the organization’s long-term financial strategy, leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board based on financial analysis, guiding decisions on investments and capital structure.
  • Oversee corporate finance functions including accounting, audits, treasury, tax, and reporting, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor financial performance, improve profitability, cost efficiency, and return on capital while establishing strong internal controls.
  • Manage capital-raising initiatives, optimize cash flow and liquidity planning, and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
  • Partner with business units to drive financial discipline, leading and mentoring high-performing finance and accounting teams.
  • Drive Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) objectives, including waste reduction and safety targets.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage).
  • Recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CFA.
  • 12 to 18+ years of progressive experience in senior finance roles within large, complex organizations.
  • Strong expertise in financial strategy, corporate finance, capital management, and risk compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS, financial modeling, valuation, forecasting, and analytics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
