Key Responsibilities- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across the group.
- Oversee general ledger activities and guarantee the absolute accuracy of financial records.
- Review comprehensive bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall cash-flow activities.
- Coordinate robust budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis.
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for transactions across diverse business units.
- Prepare insightful management accounts and comprehensive financial performance reports.
- Implement, monitor, and update internal financial controls to safeguard assets.
- Coordinate statutory tax filings and ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
- Support both internal and external audit processes seamlessly.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide professional guidance to accounting personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Active ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a group or multi-business environment.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing consolidated management accounts.
- Advanced proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
