About the Role
Avonix Place is a premier restaurant and luxury lounge located in the upscale Victoria Garden City and Ajah area of Lekki, Lagos. We serve as a fine and casual dining destination, featuring a diverse menu of both intercontinental and African dishes. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Grillers to join our vibrant culinary team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and grill various meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables to perfection according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen and grilling station.
- Manage grill equipment, monitor temperatures, and ensure timely food preparation during peak operational hours.
- Collaborate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel to ensure prompt order delivery.
- Inspect raw ingredients for quality and freshness, and properly store items to minimize food waste.
- B.Sc, HND, or OND in any related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven professional experience working as a griller or line cook in a busy restaurant or lounge setting.
- Strong interpersonal relations and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to manage kitchen challenges efficiently.
- Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary hygiene standards.
