About the Role
Baobabplus, a leading social business dedicated to expanding energy and digital access across Africa, is seeking motivated individuals for the Green Finance & Energy Advisor role in Abuja. As part of the esteemed Baobab Group, we empower local populations with innovative products that transform lives. We are offering a unique, structured 4-week full-time, in-person training programme designed to build top-tier advisory capacity at the intersection of energy and finance. Please note that this is a sales-oriented role focused on enabling responsible access to solar energy.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse client energy needs and consumption patterns
- Support the evaluation of diverse solar investment options
- Structure financially viable solutions, affordability plans, and loan structures for households and SMEs
- Work hands-on with real client cases and practical field situations
- Contribute to responsible, transparent, and informed decision-making regarding clean energy adoption
- Manage the project perspective from the initial discussion through to successful implementation
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in a relevant discipline
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
- Must currently reside in Abuja and its environs
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
- Strong aptitude for combining technical energy concepts with financial assessment and client advisory
