About the Role
BDS Consult, a premier Financial and Management Consulting firm located in Ikeja, Lagos, is urgently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting/Tax/Audit Supervisor. In this multifaceted role, you will drive our financial advisory, tax administration, and audit functions while playing a pivotal part in expanding our corporate training and SME business development portfolios. We are looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence, exceptional strategic insight, and a proven track record in financial management consulting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive accounting, auditing, and tax management engagements, including tax administration, tax audits, and consultancy.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, cash flow statements, income and expenditure accounts, and statements of affairs.
- Design and deliver bespoke soft skills and technical training programs, including creating proposals and presentation slides.
- Drive business development by prospecting for emerging SME clients, preparing business plans, and supporting credit applications.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the firm and its diverse clientele.
- Build and maintain strong ongoing customer relationships to grow business profitability and secure new retainership contracts.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience specifically within an Accounting or Auditing firm, with recent continuous experience in this sector.
- BSc, HND, or BA in Accounting from a reputable institution.
- Active student or professional membership with ICAN or ACCA is a strong advantage.
- Possession of an MSc or MBA will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks.
