About the Role
Mitiget Assurance and Technology Services Limited is a leading provider of IT governance, business risk management, and compliance solutions. We specialize in information security, cyber resilience, data protection, PCI DSS, ISO certifications, and physical security. We are currently seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and dynamic Female NYSC GRC & Compliance Associate to join our growing team on a part-time basis and support our comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of GRC and compliance-related activities across assigned client projects.
- Engage professionally with clients and stakeholders via calls, emails, and meetings to obtain necessary information.
- Review, verify, and validate submitted information and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Follow up actively on outstanding compliance requirements and maintain accurate logs of engagement and statuses.
- Assist with compliance assessments, monitoring activities, data verification, and thorough documentation reviews.
- Maintain and update compliance trackers, registers, and essential project documentation.
- Support the preparation of periodic compliance status reports and management updates.
- Identify operational gaps, discrepancies, or outstanding requirements and escalate them appropriately.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure sensitive business and customer information is securely handled.
- Support other related GRC, risk, compliance, and assurance activities as assigned by management.
- Must be a female currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- B.Sc. or HND in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of prior experience in compliance, risk management, audit, banking operations, customer service, or KYC/AML is a strong advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation abilities.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage follow-ups efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet strict project deadlines.
