About the Role
The Africa Hub for Innovation & Development (AHFID) is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphics Design Associate to support our technical assistance programmes in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Integrated Health Services. In this role, you will shape how our brand is perceived across digital and print platforms in Nigeria, translating complex data and public health narratives into compelling visual assets that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and evolve AHFID’s visual identity across digital and print materials, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Design engaging graphics for social media campaigns, email newsletters, presentations, reports, and live events.
- Translate complex written content and public health data into easily digestible visual formats such as infographics, one-pagers, and carousels.
- Produce short-form motion graphics and animated content tailored for various social media platforms and digital channels.
- Collaborate closely with the communications team and external vendors to deliver creative assets on time.
- Organize and maintain a clean, accessible digital archive of all brand assets, templates, and design files.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Creative Arts, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Mandatory completion of the NYSC programme.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience producing visual materials for digital and social media platforms, backed by a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, Canva, and basic motion tools (After Effects or CapCut).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and efficient digital workflows.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
