About the Role

Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to ending world hunger, saving the lives of malnourished children, and providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grants and Compliance Manager to oversee all critical aspects of the grant cycle from pre-award to post-award, ensuring strict donor compliance, high-quality reporting, and seamless internal and external coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure internal and external reports, including biweekly, APRs, quarterly, interim, and final reports, are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Maintain comprehensive hard and soft files for the ACF Nigeria grant portfolio from inception to closure.
  • Lead the preparation and implementation of Grant Opening, Closing, and regular monthly management meetings, ensuring proper follow-up on action points.
  • Monitor grants management tools such as detailed implementation plans, M&E plans, PFUs, and BFUs to track implementation and mitigate obstacles.
  • Monitor program implementation to ensure adherence to donor guidelines and internal ACF requirements, providing guidance to project managers.
  • Manage local partnerships with NGOs, CBOs, and CSOs, acting as the focal person for partner selection, supervision, and capacity building.
  • Support context analysis, risk management, stakeholder mapping, and the development of bi-annual context reviews and contingency plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (or higher) in International Development, Social Studies, Economics, Humanitarian Assistance, Rural Development, Geography, Agriculture, Livestock, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in a similar grants and compliance role within the humanitarian sector.
  • Extensive understanding of major donor rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, writing, reporting, and external representation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multi-cultural and high-stress environments.
