About the Role
Quantum Basics Nigeria Limited (QBNL), a leading engineering and technology firm headquartered in Gbagada, Lagos, is looking for a driven and technically inclined engineering graduate to kickstart their career. As a Graduate Trainee in Industrial Automation and Control Systems, you will undergo structured practical training and gain invaluable hands-on experience working alongside industry experts on cutting-edge instrumentation and control projects across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of industrial control and automation systems.
- Support senior engineers in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and instrumentation-related project executions.
- Participate in site surveys, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and the preparation of comprehensive technical documentation.
- Accurately interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Strictly comply with company quality standards, industry regulations, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures on all project sites.
- BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and industrial automation principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and participate in field-based site assignments.
- Fresh graduates and NYSC corp members or alumni are strongly encouraged to apply; prior professional experience is not required.
