About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria is a landmark institution established in 2021 along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor in Masaka, Nasarawa State. As the first Indian university on the African continent, MIU blends elite academic pedagogy with the dynamic industrial demands of Nigeria. We are currently looking for a passionate and academically driven Graduate Assistant in Mass Communication to join our vibrant faculty and help shape the next generation of global communication professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic staff in lecture delivery, seminar facilitation, and tutorial sessions for undergraduate students.
- Provide administrative support within the Department of Mass Communication, including maintaining academic records and assisting with departmental events.
- Participate actively in departmental research projects, academic writing, and community engagement initiatives.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations under the guidance of lead professors.
- Mentor and guide undergraduate students on academic matters and coursework inquiries.
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree with First Class or Second Class Upper Division in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess a valid Letter of Exemption.
- Must be willing and able to enroll for a Master Degree program upon appointment.
- Must complete the required Master Degree within a strict timeframe not exceeding three (3) years.
