About the Role
Jaypecstar Academy is a prestigious institution comprising a high school, nursery, primary school, crèche, and after-school programs, located within a secure and serene learning environment. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Government Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators and help shape the minds of future leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons on government and civics to high school students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that foster critical thinking and active participation.
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, club supervisions, and staff meetings as required.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance and behavioral development.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Political Science, Government, or a related field (NCE or PGDE is an added advantage).
- Proven experience teaching Government at the high school level.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for government and civic education.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strict Requirement: Only applicants residing within Lugbe, Abuja and its immediate environs will be strongly considered.
