Valdymas College (Valdymas College of Advanced Studies and Digital Transformation) is a premier educational institution headquartered in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Established in the 2015/2016 academic calendar, we serve as a foundational catalyst for academic excellence by blending rigorous advanced-level preparation with contemporary ICT literacy. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Government Teacher to join our dynamic faculty and guide driven scholars toward higher education success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons in Government to advanced-level students following the approved curriculum.
- Design effective lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to monitor student academic progress.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment conducive to modern learning.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal examinations as well as recognized external tertiary entrance examinations.
- Integrate contemporary digital tools and ICT literacy resources into daily classroom instruction.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Provide personalized academic mentoring and career guidance to scholars preparing for higher education.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Political Science, Government Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrate 2 to 3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school or advanced studies institution.
- Possess a strong understanding of Nigerian educational standards and advanced-level curriculum requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital tools for effective lesson delivery.
