About the Role
Grace Court Schools, a highly reputable educational institution located in the vibrant city of Awka, Anambra State, is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Government Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' understanding of civic responsibility, political systems, and governance, fostering critical thinking and academic excellence within a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Government to senior secondary students in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations as well as external SSCE examinations.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant discipline with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) as an added advantage.
- Proven professional teaching experience, specifically within the relevant subject area.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
