About the Role
Jaypecstar Academy is a premier educational institution comprising a high school, nursery, and primary school with a crèche and after-school programs. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Government Teacher to inspire our students and contribute to our academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Government to high school students in accordance with the 21st-century curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that promote active learning and critical thinking.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic growth.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Participate in school-wide events, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular club activities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to continuously improve teaching standards.
- Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Political Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven teaching experience in Government at the high school level.
- In-depth knowledge of secondary school curriculum and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
