About the Role
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Limited, a prominent leader in national infrastructure development since 1981, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Geotechnical Driller to join our expanding operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in our engineering site investigations, ensuring accurate soil data collection for major construction projects across Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain the XY-100 hydraulic drilling machine efficiently and safely on site.
- Carry out the complete coring process independently, adhering to strict technical standards.
- Conduct Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and Dynamic Penetration Test (DPT) accurately.
- Locate precise drilling positions using site maps and provided geographic coordinates.
- Maintain clear, accurate English paperwork, operational logs, and daily field reports.
- Open educational background, though technical or relevant educational training is an advantage.
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven working experience operating a coring drilling rig.
- Strong command of English with excellent paperwork and communication abilities.
- Must be under 40 years of age, in good physical health, and capable of adapting to long-term field work and site conditions.
