About the Role
St. Cyprian Modern Schools, a leading private educational institution in Court Area Agubia, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, is recruiting a dedicated and experienced Geography Teacher. Our school provides comprehensive academic excellence across Nursery, Primary, and Secondary educational levels, and we are seeking qualified professionals to enhance our Geography programme.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons to secondary students across all class levels
- Develop and implement effective curriculum-aligned teaching strategies and lesson plans
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and geographical awareness
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and extracurricular activities
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and attendance
- Contribute to the overall development and management of the school community
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED or B.S.ED) in Geography or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven teaching or school management experience
- Strong subject matter expertise and passion for Geography education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
