About the Role
Muksfar Lilies and Oasis College is an established Islamic co-educational institution dedicated to providing a comprehensive educational framework that seamlessly integrates Western academic standards with advanced Arabic and Islamic studies. We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Geography Teacher to inspire our students and foster a deep appreciation for the physical and human world.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons to pupils and secondary students in alignment with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare students thoroughly for major external examinations including Common Entrance, GCE, WAEC, NECO, and JAMB with a proven track record of success.
- Design interactive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles within the classroom.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record student academic progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment that reflects the moral and ethical values of the institution.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs organized by the college.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Geography or a related field.
- A valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be a distinct advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable teaching experience in a reputable educational institution.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare pupils and students successfully for regional and national external examinations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a passion for holistic student development.
