Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons in accordance with the approved school curriculum.
- Develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and teaching aids that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Organize and supervise educational excursions, fieldwork, and interactive geographical projects.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Guide and mentor students in their academic and personal development.
- Minimum qualification of a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, PGDE, NCE, HND, or ND in Geography or relevant subject areas.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to utilize modern teaching technology and interactive pedagogical methods.
- Residency in or willingness to commute to Gwagwalada, Abuja.
