We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Geography Teacher to join our dynamic academic team at our secondary school campus in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare effective lesson plans, assessments, schemes of work, and diverse teaching resources.
- Inspire students to achieve academic excellence through an engaging and interactive teaching style.
- Utilize digital teaching tools and educational technology to enhance classroom engagement.
- Assess student learning regularly and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Prepare students effectively for internal and competitive external examinations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' academic progress and attendance.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development programs.
- Promote discipline, moral character, and a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school management, and parents to support student success.
- Possess a B.Sc. or B.Ed. in Geography or Geography Education from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory possession of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC secondary school teaching experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching Geography at the high school level.
- Familiarity with Nigerian and international curricula, such as the IGCSE, is a strong advantage.
