Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a classroom environment effectively, ensuring student engagement and positive behavior.
- Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches to suit diverse student learning needs.
- Monitor teaching and learning activities continuously to ensure academic progress.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective sequences of Geography lessons.
- Teach skills that develop students' ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Foster social independence and critical thinking among all students.
- Lead specific subject areas within the School Improvement Plan to ensure sustained academic progress.
- Assess, record, and report student progress accurately to parents and school administration.
- Minimum of a B.Ed, B.Sc(Ed), B.A(Ed), or an equivalent degree in Education or a related discipline.
- Compulsory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- PGDE and TRCN certifications are an added advantage.
- Must be fluent in English or French (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and shaping young lives.
- Conversant with 21st-century ICT tools and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong team builder and player with a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
