Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial power-generating equipment efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections of generators to detect and diagnose mechanical or electrical faults.
- Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of fuel consumption, operating hours, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during all operations.
- Coordinate promptly with the engineering team to report major malfunctions and minimize downtime.
- Proven work experience in operating and maintaining industrial generators.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Relevant technical certification or trade test certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering is an added advantage.
