About the Role

Akintola Williams Deloitte, the oldest indigenous professional services firm in Nigeria, is seeking an exceptional executive to join our leadership team as the General Manager, HR & General Services. In this vital senior role, you will provide strategic direction and integrated support across Human Resources, Procurement, Administration, and Security, ensuring our operations remain efficient, compliant, and competitive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR, procurement, and administrative strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives and core values.
  • Oversee end-to-end talent management, employee relations, statutory compliance (Nigeria Labour Act, Pension Reform Act, NSITF, etc.), and learning initiatives.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, contract administration, vendor management, and inventory control to drive cost optimization and audit readiness.
  • Ensure corporate facilities, fleet management, and workplace services are cost-effective, fit-for-purpose, and fully optimized.
  • Implement robust security strategies and risk frameworks to protect personnel, physical assets, information, and operational infrastructure.
  • Act as a key strategic partner to Executive Management, mentoring functional heads and championing a high-performance corporate culture.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; an MBA or MSc is a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years operating at a senior management or executive leadership level.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CIPM, CIPD, CIPS, or MCIPS are highly preferred.
  • Extensive background managing multiple corporate support functions within asset-intensive sectors, oil and gas, manufacturing, or large professional services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management, organizational development, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance.
