About the Role
ProDevs is a global talent and technology company helping businesses build, hire, and scale with trusted technical talent. We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager / Country Operations Lead to spearhead our upcoming ProTaxi launch in Abuja and take full ownership of commercial and operational performance. In this high-impact executive role, you will be accountable for fleet utilization, revenue growth, driver performance, customer experience, and the overall city profit and loss statement (P&L).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic Abuja market launch and manage day-to-day business operations efficiently.
- Take complete ownership of revenue streams, operating costs, city P&L, and per-vehicle profitability.
- Develop, set, and continuously review driver repayment and earnings structures to maximize retention.
- Manage the lean launch team, internal resources, and critical external business partners.
- Drive fleet utilization to ensure vehicles maintain maximum productive uptime on the road.
- Collaborate closely with the ProDevs engineering team to address product issues and operational tech requirements.
- Build and maintain key government, commercial, and ecosystem relationships alongside our compliance consultant.
- Establish core operating KPIs and deliver transparent business performance reports to the owners.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in mobility, logistics, fleet operations, fintech, asset finance, or other operations-heavy industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing a balance sheet, vehicle portfolio, or driver network is strongly preferred.
- Direct operational experience within the Abuja and FCT market represents a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of scaling operations and managing teams in high-growth environments.
- Competitive monthly compensation package ranging from ₦1,200,000 to ₦1,500,000.
