About the Role
Stova Industries Ltd is a fast-growing FMCG manufacturing industry renowned for delivering excellent and high-quality products to our consumers. Driven by innovation and a commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking an exceptional General Manager to provide strategic leadership and spearhead our ambitious expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa. This is a high-impact executive role offering full P&L accountability, where you will oversee cross-functional teams spanning manufacturing, sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and human resources to achieve sustainable business success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute long-term corporate strategies, annual operating plans, and commercial initiatives to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
- Take full ownership of the company's Profit & Loss (P&L), optimizing costs and maximizing overall profitability.
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, warehousing, and logistics operations.
- Lead route-to-market strategies and strengthen distributor relationships to expand our footprint in the FMCG sector.
- Ensure strict adherence to statutory, regulatory, environmental, and safety standards across all business units.
- Mentor senior leadership, build a robust talent pipeline, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; an MBA is highly preferred.
- 10 to 12 years of progressive management experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry, with 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role such as General Manager or Country Manager.
