About the Role
Blue Apple Hotel, located in Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is recruiting a competent, passionate, and service-driven General Manager to join its dynamic team. We are looking for an exceptional hospitality leader who can drive operational excellence, elevate guest satisfaction, and maximize asset profitability for our premier property.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive leadership and strategic direction for all hotel operations, departments, and personnel.
- Drive revenue growth, manage financial performance, and oversee budgeting, cost control, and profitability targets.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service quality and hospitality standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies, standard operating procedures, and service protocols.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and facility maintenance to ensure optimal property upkeep.
- Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and talent retention initiatives for the hospitality team.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory standards, health and safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive managerial experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within hotels or resorts.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue, managing budgets, and improving operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making capacity under pressure.
