About the Role

LOPTERRA, a leading human capital resource company, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented General Manager / Chief Operating Officer to lead our expanding Renewable Energy Division. In this executive leadership role, you will provide comprehensive operational and strategic direction, overseeing business development, project execution, and financial performance to strengthen our market share in solar and inverter solutions across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for the Renewable Energy Division to achieve profitability and expansion goals.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and high standards of quality.
  • Drive business development initiatives, secure high-value clients, and forge robust strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of renewable energy projects, keeping them strictly within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, operations, and customer service.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Identify emerging market trends, regulatory updates, and innovative technologies to maintain our competitive edge in the Nigerian power sector.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field (MBA or Master's degree is a strong advantage).
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity within the renewable energy or power sector.
  • Proven track record in driving business development, scaling operations, and successfully delivering large-scale solar or inverter projects.
  • Deep understanding of Nigeria's renewable energy landscape, market dynamics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional financial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
