About the Role
Excel and Grace Consulting, a premier indigenous financial and business advisory firm in Nigeria, is seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager. In this executive leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our aviation business and its subsidiaries, ensuring that business plans are flawlessly executed, performance targets are achieved, and operations remain efficient and highly profitable.
Key Responsibilities- Translate the company’s overarching business strategy into clear operational plans and ensure effective execution across all units.
- Set, monitor, and drive the achievement of revenue, profitability, operational, and service delivery targets.
- Oversee the performance of subsidiaries, ensuring their activities align seamlessly with overall Group objectives.
- Develop and enforce efficient processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and service standards.
- Lead and coordinate senior management teams to foster accountability, high performance, and a positive workplace culture.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth, revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance while ensuring the optimal use of company resources.
- Manage vital relationships with key clients, strategic partners, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and executive team on strategic decisions and continuous business improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Aviation, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant management experience, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of business performance metrics, financial management, and complex operational processes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple business units.
- Prior working experience in the aviation sector or a closely related regulated industry will be a distinct advantage.
