About the Role
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Limited is a premier infrastructure development firm operating nationwide since 1981. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy General Manager (Business Development) to drive our next phase of corporate growth and market leadership in Nigeria's competitive engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate business expansion strategies and build a high-performing market development team to achieve annual corporate targets.
- Provide strategic leadership in penetrating key markets, securing new clients, and maintaining high-level executive relationships.
- Direct the entire bidding lifecycle, including tender strategy, joint venture structuring, risk assessment, and proposal preparation.
- Oversee post-award commercial handovers, contract negotiations, and initial project mobilization phases.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of senior management experience in business development and commercial management within the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian and international engineering markets, regulatory frameworks, and tendering procedures (EOI, PQ, RFP, RFQ).
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in independently leading bid preparation for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Established professional network and project resource connections within the Nigerian market are highly advantageous.
