About the Role
Cedar Grillz & Lounge is a contemporary food and lifestyle destination offering delicious meals, premium grills, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed lounge experience in Gwarinpa, Abuja. We are currently looking for a dynamic and engaging Games Lounge Attendant to run our snooker tables and PS5 stations, manage bookings, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Open, set up, operate, and close the games lounge daily, ensuring all snooker tables and PS5 stations are ready for guests.
- Manage gaming sessions, bookings, timing, and accurate billing with high honesty and precision.
- Welcome players, teach beginners, referee matches, and maintain a friendly, inclusive environment.
- Plan and coordinate exciting tournaments, leagues, and special gaming events to drive venue engagement.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of all gaming equipment, including tables, cues, consoles, controllers, and screens.
- Enforce house rules, age ratings, fair play, and respectful conduct among all patrons.
- Handle cash transactions, POS entries, and tournament registration fees accurately.
- Capture photos and scores of games nights to support the marketing team with social media content.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO with credits in English and Mathematics; an OND/HND in a related field is an added advantage.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in a games lounge, snooker hall, or gaming centre.
- Comprehensive knowledge of snooker rules, scoring, and popular PlayStation 5 gaming titles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- High level of integrity, particularly with cash handling and inventory management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
