Catoky International Group of Schools is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Further Maths Teacher to join our esteemed academic team in Port Harcourt. In this role, you will inspire secondary school students to master advanced mathematical concepts and prepare them for prestigious tertiary institutions both in Nigeria and abroad.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Further Mathematics in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Create a stimulating, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Prepare students effectively for internal examinations and external standardized tests.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular school activities.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven teaching experience in Further Mathematics.
- A relevant Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong command of Further Mathematics with innovative and effective teaching methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and student-engagement skills.
- Must currently reside in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
