We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Further Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will inspire secondary school students, simplify complex mathematical concepts, and foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages both academic excellence and moral development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, effective, and structured lessons in Further Mathematics to secondary school students.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson notes, instructional materials, and learning aids in line with the curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate actively with colleagues, school management, and parents to support overall student development.
- Contribute positively to the school’s academic and moral objectives through extracurricular and co-curricular participation.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant numerate field.
- Strong subject matter expertise and effective pedagogical skills for teaching Further Mathematics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven classroom management abilities.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team of educators and engage constructively with parents.
- Previous teaching experience in a reputable secondary school will be a distinct advantage.
- Must reside in Asaba or be willing to relocate prior to resumption.
