About the Role
Ark of God Schools, a reputable private educational institution with multiple campuses across Ibadan, Oyo State, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Further Mathematics Teacher. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the academic success of our college-level students by simplifying complex mathematical concepts and fostering a genuine appreciation for the subject. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and well-structured Further Mathematics lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and international curricula.
- Prepare students thoroughly for senior secondary certificate examinations and other relevant academic competitions.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Design effective lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active student participation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development programs, and extra-curricular activities as required.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc (Ed), or B.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Proven teaching experience in Further Mathematics at the senior secondary school level.
- Deep understanding of the senior secondary school mathematics curriculum and examination requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for youth development and education.
- Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ibadan, Oyo State.
