About the Role
The Lamb Academy is a prestigious, newly established educational institution located along the Lotto/Shimawa Road in Mowe, dedicated to delivering academic excellence and holistic student development. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Further Mathematics Teacher to inspire our students and contribute to our thriving academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality Further Mathematics lessons to senior secondary students using innovative and ICT-driven teaching methods.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal examinations as well as external assessments, including IGCSE and WAEC.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics or a related discipline from a reputable institution; possession of a PGDE or Master degree is an added advantage.
- Mandatory active registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing ICT tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teaching the IGCSE curriculum will be a distinct advantage.
