About the Role
Global Rainbowbird Partners is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Further Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed academic institution. In this role, you will inspire senior secondary students to achieve academic excellence by delivering engaging lessons that foster advanced mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for the subject.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Further Mathematics effectively at the senior secondary school level following the approved curriculum.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, engaging assignments, and rigorous assessments.
- Develop students' advanced mathematical reasoning and complex problem-solving skills.
- Prepare students thoroughly for relevant internal and external examinations such as WAEC and NECO.
- Monitor students' academic progress continuously and provide appropriate remedial or advanced support.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and practically using relatable real-world examples.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a disciplined, positive learning environment.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education with Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in Further Mathematics post-NYSC.
- Strong knowledge and practical teaching experience of senior secondary school advanced mathematical topics.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in excellent classroom management and student engagement.
- Must reside within Okota or its immediate environs to ensure reliable punctuality.
