As a Further Mathematics Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mathematics education, developing students' analytical thinking, and preparing them for tertiary education and beyond. Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Further Mathematics lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving
- Assess student progress through examinations, assignments, and continuous evaluation
- Prepare students effectively for WAEC, NECO, and other standardized examinations
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies and share best practices
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress
- Participate in school activities, seminars, and professional development programs
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics or related discipline
- National Certificate in Education (NCE) in Mathematics
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent qualification
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification (advantageous)
- Demonstrated expertise in Further Mathematics curriculum
