About the Role
Emmix Global Limited, a premier consultancy specializing in conceptualization, development, and project management for independent hospitality brands, is looking for a dedicated Furniture Assembler. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing our exceptional interior designs to life, ensuring every piece of furniture meets our exacting standards of craftsmanship and brand philosophy.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble cabinets, tables, chairs, wardrobes, and other custom furniture products accurately using technical drawings and specifications.
- Fit all necessary hardware including hinges, handles, drawer runners, and brackets with precision.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Perform rigorous quality control checks to identify defects, misalignment, or missing components before final delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with the production and design teams to resolve any assembly challenges promptly.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in furniture assembly, carpentry, cabinetry, or joinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of various furniture materials, including MDF, plywood, particle board, and solid wood.
- Proficiency in reading basic technical drawings, measurements, and assembly instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate power tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to handle manual workshop tasks and meet production deadlines.
