About the Role
Appzone Limited is seeking a dynamic and driven Full Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that power our cutting-edge financial services and e-banking platforms, including the renowned BankOne infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using .NET, Java, Python, or NodeJS.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React and Angular.
- Implement RESTful APIs, integrate with diverse databases, and optimize application performance across client and server sides.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams in an agile scrum environment.
- Ensure exceptional code quality through rigorous testing, thorough code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis and drafting technical documentation.
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within the fintech or banking sector.
- Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Java, .NET, Python, NodeJS) and front-end technologies (React, Angular, HTML, CSS).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization methodologies, and system design principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects.
