About the Role
Ardova Plc is a leading Nigerian integrated energy company renowned for distributing petroleum products and high-quality lubricants across an extensive network nationwide. We are seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain robust software solutions that support our rapidly growing operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable internal and customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the design and creation of scalable software for both internal and customer-facing platforms.
- Write clean, functional code across the entire front-end and back-end technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, managers, and UI/UX designers to ideate and deliver impactful software solutions.
- Design efficient client-side and server-side architecture and manage well-functioning databases ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop and integrate effective APIs for seamless application communication.
- Test software thoroughly to guarantee optimal responsiveness, performance, and efficiency.
- Implement industry security best practices to protect applications against potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Maintain legacy code, troubleshoot existing software, and take ownership of the continuous reliability of all enterprise applications.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews, author technical documentation, and adhere to modern software engineering best practices.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, or in a similar technical role.
- Minimum of a Second Class Lower (2.2) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Laravel.
- Demonstrated backend expertise in languages such as PHP, Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB), version control (Git), RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer, or DevOps) are a strong advantage.
