About the Role
Brint School is an innovative online school dedicated to creating a personalized learning experience for African children in the diaspora. Our team of talented educators and technologists work together to enhance each child’s knowledge and proficiency in their chosen subjects. We are currently looking for a motivated Assistant Developer to join our dynamic tech team and help us scale our educational impact across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing assigned digital features for our website and learning management system
- Fixing bugs and resolving technical issues promptly to ensure seamless user experiences
- Maintaining and monitoring the website, LMS, and mobile applications
- Supporting database and backend operations under the guidance of the CTO
- Testing new features rigorously before deployment
- Assisting with mobile app development and troubleshooting
- Providing technical support to staff members when required
- Documenting completed tasks and providing regular progress updates
- Assisting with backups, system updates, and general system maintenance
- Degree or relevant certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of web development technologies, databases, and backend operations
- Familiarity with mobile application development and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with a CTO and follow assigned priorities
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining system confidentiality
