About the Role
Cavista is looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer II to join our dynamic team and help build secure, scalable, and intuitive digital financial products for global users. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences while adhering to the highest standards of financial security and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-performance frontend applications supporting digital banking, payments, and lending products.
- Build reusable, maintainable components using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Integrate frontend systems securely with APIs, payment gateways, and third-party financial platforms.
- Ensure strict compliance with PCI-DSS, security best practices, and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across multiple devices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and troubleshoot production issues related to user transactions and account servicing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional frontend development experience with a strong focus on fintech products.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, alongside frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proven expertise in secure application development, API integration, and payment gateway implementation.
