About the Role
Kredete is a fast-moving, profitable personal finance company dedicated to helping individuals across Africa achieve financial progress. We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer specializing in Angular to design, build, and maintain user-facing interfaces for our high-impact financial applications. In this role, you will create responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences, collaborating closely with product designers and backend engineers to deliver intuitive features that solve real-world problems for users across the continent. Key Responsibilities- Architect, build, and maintain scalable frontend features for new and existing financial products.
- Translate designs and wireframes into responsive, high-quality, and accessible web interfaces.
- Design and implement modern frontend architecture and state management for complex data flows.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and optimize data fetching for maximum performance.
- Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and designers on seamless UX implementation.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring excellent Core Web Vitals across all devices.
- Uphold strict code quality standards through rigorous reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, and Playwright.
- 4 to 6+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Angular (v19+) building large-scale web applications.
- Solid proficiency in Angular Signals and NgRx Signal Store for state management.
- Demonstrated experience in agentic-driven development and autonomous workflow design.
- Hands-on experience with monorepo setups using Nx for shared libraries and applications.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and Angular Material for consistent UI systems.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
