About the Role
Tehillah School is a reputable Christian nursery and primary educational institution located at 26, Brown & Brown Crescent, Independence Layout, Enugu, Nigeria. Founded in September 2010, our school has grown from a daycare and preschool center into a comprehensive learning environment offering classes up to Grade 6. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to join our vibrant academic community and help young learners develop a strong foundation in the French language and culture.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons tailored to nursery and primary school students.
- Create a dynamic, interactive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Design and utilize creative teaching aids, games, and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
- Participate in school events, cultural days, and extracurricular activities related to modern languages.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and academic performance.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in French, Modern Languages, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching French to children in a nursery or primary school setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Strong passion for early childhood education and Christian values.
