About the Role
Telic International Academy is a reputable private early childhood and primary educational institution located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are dedicated to providing a strong care and learning foundation starting from infancy through elementary levels. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated French Teacher to join our vibrant academic community and inspire young learners to embrace the French language and culture.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons tailored to early childhood and primary school students.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and language acquisition.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to integrate language learning into broader school activities and curricula.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom achievements.
- Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a safe, orderly, and productive learning atmosphere.
- Possession of a B.Ed, B.Sc, or HND with PGDE, or an NCE with a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Good ICT skills and familiarity with modern educational technology will be an added advantage.
- Must be hardworking, creative, innovative, and a strong team player.
