We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and dedicated French Language Teacher to join our vibrant academic community and inspire our students to achieve fluency and a deep appreciation for the French language and culture.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive French language lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Encourage active student participation in conversational French, listening exercises, and cultural activities.
- Collaborate with fellow colleagues and school administration to support overall student development and school events.
- Uphold the moral and ethical values of our Catholic institution both inside and outside the classroom.
- Minimum of a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or a relevant Bachelor's degree in French or a related subject area.
- Mandatory possession of an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
