About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently recruiting a dynamic and experienced Fragrance Consultant to join our client's expanding luxury boutique in Nigeria. In this captivating role, you will do much more than simply sell perfume; you will act as a sensory storyteller who connects clients with the heritage, artistry, and emotion behind every unique scent.
Key Responsibilities- Guide clients through personalized fragrance consultations, both in-store and by appointment.
- Bring each house and scent to life through evocative storytelling regarding its origins, notes, and perfumer's intent.
- Build and nurture a loyal clientele base through thoughtful follow-ups, private previews, and detailed client books.
- Achieve and consistently exceed individual and boutique sales targets.
- Maintain expert knowledge of fragrance houses, new launches, and the wider niche perfumery landscape.
- Present the fragrance space, displays, and testers to an impeccable luxury standard.
- Support exclusive launches, instore events, and brand activations.
- Collaborate closely with the styling team to deliver a holistic and memorable client experience.
- Minimum of an OND or HND qualification from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience within the luxury or niche fragrance sector.
- Strong understanding of olfactory families, notes, and overall fragrance structure.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural gift for warm, unscripted storytelling.
- Demonstrated track record of building and retaining high-value client relationships.
- Polished personal presentation and a deep instinct for delivering premium luxury customer service.
- Proficiency in utilizing WhatsApp and social media channels for professional client relationship management.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
