We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Football and Basketball Coaches to lead our student-athletes and foster a culture of discipline, teamwork, and athletic achievement on our Abuja campus.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and conduct engaging training sessions for university football and basketball teams.
- Develop effective game strategies and tactics to prepare teams for inter-university competitions and tournaments.
- Monitor and evaluate student-athletes' performance, providing constructive feedback to improve individual and team skills.
- Instill strong sportsmanship, discipline, and ethical values among all team members.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and safe usage of sports equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with the university sports department to organize campus-wide athletic events and recreational programs.
- Minimum of a National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Recognized coaching certifications from relevant sports bodies or federations.
- Proven professional experience coaching football or basketball, preferably within a tertiary institution or professional academy setting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during tournament seasons.
